First Week of Third Grade

The first week of school was....... BUSY! We are adjusting to having a very large class and it went pretty good. Our class learned how to use notebooks during our math lessons, created reading and language notebooks, learned how to type our code in for lunch, created jungle safari people, and started a fun read aloud. That is just a few things we did this week. It was an absolute blast and I loved to see all their smiling faces again. Enjoy the picture below!

Field Trips

We were so lucky to have two field trips back to back. Last Thursday, we went to the Viking Diner and played bingo with the senior citizens. It was an absolute blast. They were so well behaved and had such wonderful manners. On Friday, we got to tour the Northland Community and Technical College Aviation Center. This was very fun! We learned how they made a lot of the parts of the plane and stepped inside quite a few airplanes. After the tour we went to Lions Park. We ate lunch and played at the park. We were so thankful for the beautiful weather! Last we stopped at Dairy Queen and enjoyed a Dilly Bar. That may have been a highlight of the trip for most 2nd graders. I hope you enjoy the pictures below!
