This is my 4th year teaching 2nd grade at Viking Elementary, and I love every minute of it! I graduated from Red Lake County Central in 2003. After high school, I attended Lake Region State College where I was a member of the Lady Royals volleyball and basketball teams. After graduating with my BA degree, I continued on to Mayville State University in Mayville, ND, where I played basketball for the Lady Comets. I graduated with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood. I then substitute taught for two years in a few surrounding area schools as I continued my job search. I worked at Digi-Key for a year before landing my teaching job in Viking, MN. I met my husband Justin at Mayville State and we married in 2009. He teaches Phy-Ed and Health at Lincoln High school in Thief River Falls. He also is busy coaching football and basketball. We had our first child, Jordyn, in May of 2012. She definitely keeps us very busy and we enjoy every minute with her!
